ginisang atay ng manok (sauteed chicken liver)


Ginisang Atay ng Manok (Sauteed Chicken Liver)



Ingredients:

200 grms of chicken liver

1 medium tomato

1 medium onion

2 cloves of garlic

1 Tbsp of oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

- Heat oil in a wok. 
- Saute garlic, onion and tomato.
- Add the chick liver, mixed and cover.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes or till liver is cooked.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.

Ginisang tuna at spinach (Sauteed Tuna with Spinach)



Ingredients:

1 can of chunky tuna in vegetable oil

1 large tomato (chopped)

1 large onion (chopped)

3 cloves of garlic (minced)

1 cup of spinach (cut to 1 inch)

 chilli pepper (chopped) optional

1 Tbsp of fish sauce. Add more to taste.

pepper to taste

1 Tbsp of oil

1/4 cup of water

Procedure:

- Heat oil in a wok.

- Sauteed garlic, onion and tomato.

- Add tuna with vegetable oil and water and cover for 5-7 minutes in medium heat.

- Add the chili pepper, fish sauce and pepper.

- Add spinach and cover for 1 minute.

- Ready to serve with steamed rice.

Omurice

Inspired by Korean Drama Rooftop Prince. I had my first attempt to make Omurice. Not bad..i think..lol!






Ingredients:
-small bowl of rice
-mixed vegetables
-beaten eggs
-soy sauce
-ketsup
-salt and pepper to taste
-cooking oil

Procedure:
-fry onion, garlic and mixed vegetable in cooking oil
-add rice and continue frying
-add soy sauce, ketsup, salt and pepper to taste.
-make an omelette in a separate pan
-fill the fried rice and mixed veg at the center of the omelette and wrap the omelette.

simple salad or side dish


Ingredients
- 1 large tomato (cut in thin slices)
- 1 small red onion (thin slices)
- 1 small lime
- 3 Tbsp shrimp paste or bagoong

Procedure
- Combine all ingredients in a a bowl.
- Good with barbeque or side dish for any fish

fish in vinegar (paksiw na isda)





Ingredients
- 2 pcs of fish (cut into 2)
- 1 ampalaya (cut into wedges)
- 1 eggplant (cut into wedges)
- 1 large tomato (cut into wedges)
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- 1/4 cup of vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- thump size ginger (crushed)
- 2 gloves of crused garlic

Procedure
- lay the fish in a pot
- pour the vinegar
- add the onion, garlic, tomato and ginger
- open stove to medium heat to simmer
- when simmering, lower the heat and wait for 5 mins.
- add the ampalaya and eggplant till cooked
- serve with steaming plain rice
